Emily was born and raised in beautiful El Dorado, graduating from El Dorado High School in 2001. GO CATS!! Emily started her insurance career with CMI Insurance in July 2005 obtaining her insurance license in September 2005. By 2006 she had received the professional designation CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) and in 2014 she received her CIC (Certified Insurance Councilor).
Outside CMI, Emily enjoys spending time with her husband, Todd, and three kids, Abby, Lizzy, and Remmy. They can often be found at her kids sporting events, camping, or hanging out with family.
Todd Wyatt
Sales Producer
Todd was born in Little Rock, AR and moved to Camden in 1999. He and Emily married in 2006 and began their life together in El Dorado. Todd started his insurance career in 2015 as the coordinator of CMI Insurance’s special marketing campaigns and a producer of outside sales.
Outside CMI, Todd enjoys anything outdoors. He can often be found working in the yard, fishing, or at the deer camp. Most weekends you can find Todd, Emily, and the kids camping on the beautiful waters of Arkansas.
Paul Choate, CIC, EIS

Paul entered the insurance industry in 1978 as a life and health sales representative. He received his CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) in 1985 and his EIS (Excellence in Service) in 1997. In 1995 Paul purchased McCurry & VanNess today known as CMI Insurance. Paul has been very active in the insurance industry working closely with the Independent Insurance Agents of Arkansas (IIA of Arkansas) and the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (IIABA). He has taught continuing education classes, been a board member, served on the education committee, and is a past president of the IIA of Arkansas. On the national level with the IIABA Paul has been the Governmental Affairs/INSURPAC committee chair.
Away from insurance Paul is the current Mayor of El Dorado and available by appointment only. He has served on several local boards in El Dorado such as the South Arkansas Arts Center, Kiwanis Club, and Main Street El Dorado. He can often be seen in the downtown area working on the local events such as Musicfest and Showdown at Sunset. If not downtown Paul is at the Arts Center donating his time to bring theatre to life. He has been member of College Avenue Church of Christ since 1979. He teaches bible classes and serves on the church’s finance committee.
